Britney teaming up with Madonna - virtually

Washington, July 8 (ANI): American diva Britney Spears is said to be planning to shoot a video for pop queen Madonna's upcoming 'Sticky and Sweet' tour.

"Britney is going to film something for Madonna's show in the next week or so," People magazine quoted Liz Rosenberg, a representative for Madonna, as saying.

She, however, did not divulge further information as to what they will be doing, and where the film will be shot.

"I don't know. It's a secret," she said.

Britney, however, is not in New York to film the video segments, nor has she already shot anything.

This is not the first time that reports about the collaboration between the two pop stars have surfaced, for they famously teamed up during the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, sharing the stage and one memorable kiss during the broadcast.

Britney is not expected to perform with Madonna, whose tour kicks off in Wales next month.

The U.S. leg of her tour starts October 4 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (ANI)
