Alanis Morissette reveals secret behind her slim waist

Washington, January 3 (ANI): Alanis Morissette, whose album 'Jagged Little Pill' remains the highest selling debut album worldwide in music history, has let out her secret behind her tiny waist.

The Canadian singer owes her slim structure, after dropping 20 pounds, to her daily diet including fruit, vegetables, beans and nuts motivated by the book "Eat To Live".

"I feel like a 12-year-old! I used to get out of bed in the morning and things were aching, and I just thought, this is what happens when you get into your 30s. " FoxNews quoted her as telling OK! Magazine.

"But now I jump out of bed and have so much energy; I feel very alive," she added.

The occasional actress further revealed that she looked after her health by balancing her diet with frequent workouts.

She added" "When I'm not on tour, I do between a half hour to an hour of light weights, running, biking, swimming, probably five times a week. I also love to kickbox and dance." (ANI)
