Patna, Jan 1 (ANI): Activists of a Muslim organisation here protested against US President George W. Bush, accusing him of being responsible for spreading militancy throughout the world.

The Bharatiya Momin Front used footwear to damage posters of Bush.

"We want to celebrate the farewell ceremony of world's terror leader Bush by beating him with footwear. We want decline in all the terror activities from the world. Bush wants his dominance and wants to make the whole world his slave," said Mahmud Alam Ansari, president of Bharatiya Momin Front.

Muslims around the world have expressed anger over Bush's Iraq invasion.

An Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at Bush earlier in December, calling it a retaliation for the invasion of Iraq.

TV reporter Muntazer al-Zaidi shot to fame when he called Bush a "dog" in Arabic at a news conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Baghdad and threw both his shoes at Bush -- a grave insult in the Arab world. (ANI)
