Bodies of four Indians killed in Kabul attack brought home
New Delhi/Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh), July 8 (ANI): Bodies of the four Indians who were killed in a suicide car bomb attack at the Indian embassy in Kabul, were brought back by a special aircraft to New Delhi in wee hours of this morning.
Among the dead four were Indians, including Brigadier Rai Datt Mehta and Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer (Counsellor-Political) V.

Mourning over her son's death, the mother of 40-year-old Rao from Andhra Pradesh, B. Subhadramma said he was about to be posted back to India.
"Two days back he called me and told that he will be joining as Secretary in Delhi next month. He is my youngest son," she said.
A suicide bomber had rammed a car full of explosives into the gates of the Indian embassy in the Afghan capital on Monday morning killing 41 people instantly and injuring over 140.
Two men of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) - Ajai Pathania and Roop Singh, who were on guard duty at the embassy, were also killed in the blast.
About 3000 Indians are working on various reconstruction and developmental projects in Afghanistan and they have often been subjected to attacks by the Taliban. (ANI)
