Washington, Dec 31 (ANI): Director Michael Bay has received the Department of Defence's approval for using military equipments for his upcoming sequel to his hit film 'Transformers'.

The Department of Defence has allowed director and his crew to access the Army's New Mexico missile range, the Air Force's fighter planes, and the Navy's aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis.

"As far as I know, this is the biggest joint military operation movie ever made, in terms of Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines," Fox News quoted Army liaison Lt. Col. Gregory Bishop as telling US Today.

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," is slated to hit theatres in 2009. (ANI)
