Wonder Woman speaks out about her booze battle
London, July 7 (ANI): American actress Lynda Carter spoke out about her booze battle and how it had affected her life.
Carter, who had played the role of Wonder Woman, revealed that she had become an alcoholic after appearing as the super-hero in the iconic 1970s TV show.
The only thing that made 55-year-old Carter quit was when her husband Robert Altman begged her to get help for the sake of her two kids.

"He asked me, 'Can't you just stop this for the children and for me?' I was so good at hiding it too. Brilliant," the Sun quoted her as saying.
Carter was treated at a Washington rehab clinic and she has been sober for almost ten years.
"I needed help - I begged God in heaven to help me figure this out. I was going to learn what was wrong with me," she added.
The only good memory she has of that time was when she was playing the role of Wonder Woman.
"The character is so cool," she said. (ANI)
