Hyderabad, Dec 30 (ANI): A woman from Hyderabad is doing wonders with porcelain powder as a medium to convert prosaic objects into works of art.

Madhurathi, a 3D-art expert imparts training to those willing to learn the art form at her home.

She mixes porcelain powder with locally available glue and uses a pastel knife to create unique forms on clay, wood and bone china.

Madhurathi also experiments with cement instead of porcelain powder.

"A lot of things can be decorated using this art. The material used in this art can also be cement for decorating the walls of temples. Normally, the material used on glass is porcelain powder, which is available in the market everywhere by this name. But if this is costly, cement can also be used. 3D art is very old. Earlier, very few people knew about it," said Madhurathi.

As her name spreads, so does her number of students.

"I liked her work. So I decided to learn this so that I can use this art to decorate something in my house," said Harika, a trainee.

Most of Madhurathi's students have taken up the unique art form as a source of livelihood as well. By Narendra (ANI)
