Police seize ammunition in Shankargadh
Allahabad, Dec 30 (ANI): In a major development, police in Shankargadh circle area of Allahabad district have seized a huge cache of ammunition and arrested three suspected people.
The seized explosive include 750 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, 1700 metre magnetic fuse and more than a hundred detonators.
"In Shankargadh, around 15 bags of ammonium nitrate, each of 50 kilograms making it to 750 kilograms have been recovered. Around hundred metres and 1700 magnetic fuse have also been seized," said Ashok M Jain, Senior Superintendent of Police of Allahabad.
Acting on a tip off, the police intercepted Hari Lal, Amrit Lal and Hanuman Pal and nabbed the trio when they were trying to cross on to Madhya Pradesh.
Police said that the further investigations were on. (ANI)
