Two bikers killed in head-on collision
Greater Noida, Dec 29 (IANS) Two bikers were killed here after their motorcycles were involved in a head on collision, the police said Monday.
The accident, according to police, occurred in Greater Noida's Dadri town at about 9.30 p.m. Sunday.
A police official said the two bikers, Rajesh and Bhura, were severely injured in the accident.
They were rushed to a hospital and later succumbed to their injuries, police officer Shyam Rati Arya said.
In another accident, three people were injured when their car hit a truck that had overturned on the Greater Noida Expressway.
According to the police, Rewati Sharma, R.S. Gupta and Sameer Pandey -- all from Delhi -- were injured when their car rammed into the truck. The injured were taken to a hospital and were said to be stable.
