Commentary on Yajur Ved now in Gujarati
Gandhinagar, Dec 29 (IANS) A commentary on Yajur Ved, one of the four Vedas that are among the most ancient world literature, is now available in Gujarati.
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here Monday released the first Gujarati edition of the 944-page 'Yajurved Bhashya', written in Sanskrit and Hindi by Arya Samaj founder Swami Dayanand Saraswati over a century ago.

The original edition placed emphasis on the Vedic grammar principles, said Acharya Shri Ghyaneshwarji of the Arya Samaj.
Dayalmuni, the translator, said: 'As many as 1,975 mantras guide us to tread the right path as person and as family. Everything is made abundantly clear in the simplest form.'
Modi said: 'The timeless wisdom and knowledge of the Vedas have enriched our cultural heritage and they still have relevance.'
