London, Dec 29 (ANI): Brit footballer David Pratt has landed himself the world's fastest-ever red card.

Pratt, 21, a striker from non-league Chippenham, was sent off after three seconds for a lunge at Bashley's Christopher Knowles, 22.

"It was a potential leg-breaker," the Sun quoted Bashley boss Steve Riley as saying.

The match in Bashley, Hants, ended 2-1 to the home side.

The record, for the fastest red card ever given, had been held by Bologna's Giuseppe Lorenzo, who was sent off after just ten seconds.

Sheffield Wednesday goalie Kevin Pressman lasted 13 seconds against Wolves in 2000. (ANI)
