Peter Crouch's donated oversized designer clothes remain stuck on shelf
London, Dec 29 (ANI): English footballer Peter Crouch might have donated his designer clothes to charity, but so far nobody has picked even one of them as they are too big in size.
The expensive clothes, belonging to the 6ft 7in striker, had been given to a charity shop, after he quit Liverpool for Portsmouth.
All the gear had been measured to fit Crouch, 27, who is the tallest player in the Premiership and in the England team, and now they are stuck on the shelf of the shop, as there are no pickers.
"There's a Liverpool charity shop full of my old gear. When I quit the club I went through my wardrobe and gave a few bin liners of clothes away," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.
"So if there are any 6ft 7in Scousers looking for new gear they should start hunting," he said.
Crouch's gear has been picked out by model WAG Abbey Clancy, 22, but he admits made-to-measure suits dominate his wardrobe.
"I have about a dozen," he said.
"They're great because you don't have to worry about the trousers not fitting.
"Height has always been my main consideration when it comes to clothes. Obviously the length of the leg and the sleeves is critical.
"I don't wear skinny jeans and they make me look about 8ft tall," he added. (ANI)
