Railway police arrest 32 Myanmar nationals in Kolkata

Kolkata, Dec 25 (ANI): Railway Police arrested 32 Myanmar nationals from Sealdah Railway station in Kolkata.
Acting on a tip off, the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Police Force (RPF) took them into custody from the station, when they were about to board a Jammu-bound train.
Police have recovered a 'Myanmar Kyat', (a currency note of 1000) along with an Indian currency worth rupees 4700 from them.
The police are also investigating whether they have any links with the militant outfits.
Addressing the media persons, Superintendent of Police B K Mallik said that these persons have entered the state through Bangladesh border and they were supposed to go to Jammu in search of jobs. (ANI)
