Adam Sandler losing sheen to animated character

London, Dec 24 (IANS) Hollywood comedian Adam Sandler has said he is losing his touch and is no longer the eye candy for girls he once was.

The 'Click' actor thinks that teenage girls across the globe are falling for his forthcoming film 'Bedtime Stories' co-star instead, who is an animated guinea pig called Bugsy, reports thesun.co.uk.

'I worked hard, I came up with a lot of great jokes but somehow the kids all talk about the cross-eyed rodent,' he said.

His co-star in the film, Keri Russell echoed the same thought and added: 'Bugsy steals the show...He's very funny. When I watched the film, there were 14-year-old girls screaming for Bugsy like he was a pop star.'
