Former Pak leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed to undergo knee surgery
London, July 6 (ANI): Former Pakistan leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed will undergo right knee surgery on Monday.
Officials of the Sussex County Cricket Club for whom Mushtaq plays during the English cricket season said Mushtaq has suffered a fresh cartilage tear and he has been told he will not know the full extent of the injury until the operation has been carried out.

Mushtaq underwent keyhole surgery in May. The worst case scenario is that Mushtaq will play any of the county's matches during the 2008-09 season.
However, if the tear is only a minor one, he could be play the County Championship match against Lancashire on August 6, reports the Dawn.
Mushtaq took 90 first-class wickets for Sussex last season at just over 25 runs apiece.The south coast club emerged as County Champions as a result. (ANI)
