Kolkata, Dec 24 (ANI): Amidst growing tension between India and Pakistan, traders from Pakistan are in Kolkata to participate in the 22nd Industrial India Trade Fair.
Traders from Pakistan say that they see no reason to break a tradition of over 15 years just because some rebels were persisting with efforts to create distance between the two countries.

Traders also pointed out that the common man in Pakistan has no hatred towards their Indian brothers.
"We are coming here from last 15 years. As far as common people are concerned, there is no problem, as we get lot of affection. We don't find any difference between Karachi and Kolkata, it feels like we are in our country only", said Mohammad Arshad Alam, a marble trader from Karachi.
Wajid Khan, a representative, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that there is no fear among traders.
"Terrorists actually want to spoil relations between India and Pakistan. They want to create differences between two nations because they know that if these two countries come together, they can together make a mark in the entire world. Terrorists don't want that trade to continue in these two nations," Khan said.
Dipak Banerjee, Special Officer, Bengal National Chamber of Commerce andndustry said that there was no hindrance in getting these traders to India and a few problems of visas, which were there from foreign affairs ministry, were soon resolved.
Banerjee added that business is the only motive of the traders from the neighbouring nation.
"They know that every year when they are participating in this fair, they are getting very good business. From their point of view and at the same time from the purchasers of Kolkata or the surrounding area, they are also very much fascinated from their products. So they get business," said Banerjee.
Pakistani traders bring rare marble curios and textiles to the fair. Countries like Bangladesh, China and Thailand are the other participants in the fair.
