Bollywood's Christmas plans and their wishlist for Santa

National,Entertainment, Wed, 24 Dec 2008 IANS

Mumbai, Dec 24 (IANS) It will be a quiet Christmas with the family for most Bollywood celebrities this year. If Asin is hoping to catch her debut Hindi film 'Ghajini' on Christmas, Malaika Arora is looking forward to a quiet Christmas lunch with her family and Celina Jaitley is happy she's in Geneva for a 'white Christmas'.

Asin: Christmas back home in Kerala used to be big. We had cakes and christmas tree, carols and candles. In Mumbai, we won't be doing much except going to Church mass on Christmas eve. But yes, I do hope to catch my film 'Ghajini' on Christmas. Can you believe it? I still haven't seen it! I hope, the audiences will go to see Aamir's muscles but notice me also. The one gift I want from Santa? For 'Ghajini' to be a hit.

Dino Morea: Spending X-mas at home. My parents are down from Bangalore. So it will be family and a few close friends. I've got the Christmas tree up and decorated. We'll all go for midnight mass and an X-mas brunch that will probably go on till late evening with a free flow of wine and pudding.

Malaika Arora: Will go for midnight mass. And on the 25th have a quiet family lunch. Honestly, I want no gifts in my Christmas stockings.

Rensil D'Silva: I'm here in New York celebrating a white Christmas with my family. Don't want anything from Santa this year. It's about time someone got Santa something for a change, don't you think?

Amrita Arora: I'll bring in Christmas by going for midnight mass. We have a family lunch at home every Christmas. That tradition will never change. And since I have everything this year, I want Santa to get some peace and love for my loved ones.

Kelly Dorji: This year I've asked Santa to get me Kate Winslet. She has been a secret passion for years. Let's see if he does the needful. And this Christmas I'm going into silent meditation retreat with the art of living. It will take me silently to the new year.

Celina Jaitley: I'm in Geneva for Christmas. So it will finally be a white Christmas for me after many years. I'll be meeting friends and family on Christmas eve followed by an opera and then Christmas mass. I've been a good girl this year so I expect Santa to bring me all the things that I want including that someone special.

John Matthew Mathan: I plan to spend X-mas at home with family. What I'd really like this Christmas is a united India led by uncompromising leaders. For myself I want enough financial independence to be able to make the films I want to.
