Rahul Gandhi interacts with his party's youth activists in Punjab

Amritsar, Dec 24 (ANI): Congress party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi addressed youth activists of the party here last evening.

Rahul was in the city to witness the organisational election of the Punjab Youth Congress (PYC).

Addressing a gathering of recently elected Block and District Youth Congress Presidents and allied candidates contesting for the posts of office bearers of Punjab, he said that the future of country lies in the hands of 70 per cent of Indian youth population who could lead the nation to glory.

"India has 70 per cent youth population. I am Secretary of Youth Congress and National Students' Union of India, and has only one aim of giving political voice to country's youth," he said.

India faces general elections early next year and after the victories of the Congress in the three states of the recently concluded assembly polls, the party's star campaigner is out in full force to woo voters. (ANI)
