July 24: The Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker KR Suresh Ready today suspended 34 TDP MLAs for disrupting the house proceedings.

Following the ugly remarks by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajashekhar Reddy against the former CM and TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu in the Monday assembly, the TDP leaders today protested inside and outside the assembly demanding apology from the chief minister.

However, the chief minister Reddy had told that he is not going to apologies for anything.

The Monday proceeding of the assembly turned worst with heated remarks from leaders of ruling congress and the opposition TDP.

It was the state chief minister who used abusive words against the TDP chief saying “I will wipe you out and expose you in such a way that you will regret having born to your mother, I will wash you out after the end of the day”.

This ugly incident comes up when the chief minister lost his temper over a debate regarding a mining lease issue. Reportedly TDP leaders were protesting against the lease given to a company owned by Jannardhan Reddy believed to be closer to CM YSR.

These abusive remarks prompt TDP members to demand apology and later on Tuesday protest outside the assembly that lead to their suspension by the Speaker.

It is really shame in a democracy where the leaders elected by people forget all norms and behave each other offensively in public without considering their own image as a responsible representative.
