London, July 6 (ANI): A pregnant cat that crawled into lorry looking for a safe place to give birth survived a week-long journey from Hungary to England, and gave birth to two kittens.
The cat, now named Mia, gave birth in the Suzuki factory truck sometime during the 1,124-mile journey.
She and her new born kittens survived by licking condensation in the vehicle, reports The Sun.
Workers at the other Suzuki plant in the UK, who heard their meowing, finally discovered the little family.
After six months in quarantine, Mia and her kittens were finally picked up by parts-buyer Francesca Robinson, 30, who spent 3,000 pounds on vet bills.
She said: "It's incredible they survived. I fell in love with them all and knew I'd do whatever it took to take them home." (ANI)
