Bolivia bus accident kills 17

La Paz, Dec 22 (IANS) Seventeen people, including children, have been killed and three others injured in a bus accident near the Bolivian capital, EFE reported Monday.
The accident occurred Saturday night on the Naciones Unidas Avenue when the bus veered off the road and fell into a deep ravine, the Bolivian highway patrol said Sunday.
At the time of the accident there were heavy showers in the region, officials said.
Most of the victims have been identified, the report said.
