Melbourne, Dec 21 (ANI): Barely 48 hours after arriving in Sydney with his girlfriend, Australian actress Abbie Cornish, Ryan Phillippe attacked photographers at Circular Quay.
Cornish, 26, had been guest of honour at Calvin Klein's lavish, high-class 40th anniversary party on Cockatoo Island.
However, as the couple left the venue, a drunk Phillippe clashed with photographers.
"We're tired and I'm drunk and I don't want you hassling my girl,'' the Daily Telegraph quoted him, as saying.
Cornish, who has been dating Phillippe for about a year, managed to keep her dignity throughout the incident.
The couple, whose relationship was blamed for ending Phillippe's seven-year marriage to actress Reese Witherspoon, met on the set of their film 'Stop-Loss', and will again be seen together on the big screen in the upcoming release 'Last Battle Dreamer'. (ANI)
