Partying Paris in 1.3 mn pounds gem raid
London, Dec 20 (IANS) A burglar broke into Paris Hilton's new home and stole 1.3 million pounds of jewellery.
Paris, 27, was out with singer pal Christina Aguilera, who was celebrating her 28th birthday, when the thief early Friday forced open the front door of the 4 million pounds Hollywood mansion, reports thesun.co.uk.
The hooded raider managed to escape despite the house being in a private gated community patrolled by guards.
LAPD spokesman Ben Llewellyn said: 'A security guard is the one that called in and reported that the residence was broken into.
'Our detectives learned that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced entry through the front door.
'The man ransacked the bedroom.'
The cops are now looking at CCTV footage for clues.
