New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS) In a daring daylight heist Friday, a manager with a private export company was robbed of Rs.500,000 in cash by two motorcycle-borne men outside a bank in Delhi, the police said.

Kamla Prasad Yadav, 53, was stepping out of the Vijaya Bank's branch in Vikaspuri in west Delhi around 12.45 p.m. when two motorcycle-borne men snatched his bag containing Rs.500,000 in cash and fled, the police said.

Yadav came to the bank with his driver Mukteshvar and field officer Pankaj Mishra to withdraw the money.

'After stepping out of the bank, I asked my field officer to look for the driver. Within a few minutes two men with their faces covered, approached me on a black motorcycle and snatched the bag from me,' Yadav said.

Yadav raised an alarm but could not stop the robbers.

Yadav told the police that the pillion rider who snatched his bag was wearing a white sweater.
