J-K police kills JeM militant in Pulwama
Srinagar July 04 (ANI): In a joint operation by Pulwama Police and 182 Batallion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has eliminated a militant of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Pulwama district.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama, Ali Mohammad, police on specific information launched an operation in an area between village Barpora and Wagahama in Pulwama.
Police was later on joined by 182 Battalion of CRPF.
In this encounter a militant of Jaish-e-Mohammad has been killed, while another militant believed to a Pakistani was hurt. Operation has been started to nab the injured militant.
The slain militant has been identified as Shabir Ahmad alias Arsalan.
An AK-47 rifle and two magazines were recovered from the killed militant. (ANI)
