Varanasi, Dec 18 (ANI): Some doctors here claims that cow urine treatment can lower blood-sugar levels and cure diabetes. The doctors also claim that it can cure many diseases and can be helpful to cancer patients.

In 2008, a study by scientists in Bangalore found that cow urine has anti-diabetic properties.

Researchers say that there are many salts like gold and copper in cow urine that have healing properties.

"Cow urine has properties that are good for the brain, the heart, the respiratory system, spinal cord and bones. But it is best for stomach related problems and for those suffering from constipation. Recently, we found that a mixture of cow urine, tulsi and neem can help cancer patients also," said Amit Yadav, a doctor.

The analgesic properties of cow urine which act as pain killers are also being tested.

Researchers also say that urine has the properties to protect liver and pancreas and some vital organs of the body.

In India itself, experiments carried out on diabetic rats proved that rats treated with the cow urine had lower blood sugar levels as compared to other rats.

The cow urine contains substances present in human body. Hence, it is believed that consumption of cow urine maintains the balance of minerals in the human body. By Girish Kumar Dubey (ANI)
