Entertainment Tonight admits being wrong about Angelina Jolie birth news

New York, July 4 (ANI): After weeks of refusing to retract its false report that Angelina Jolie had given birth to her twins, Entertainment Tonight is finally owning up to the fact that they got it wrong.

 

The TV show breathlessly rushed to announce that the actress had given birth in France.

 

The story, posted on the TV show's Web site, cited a 'source close to Jolie.'

 

However, ET has finally conceded that they were a bit premature with the news.

 

"ETonline had previously been given false information about the birth, but are happy to report that her doctor has now confirmed to us that the twins will arrive 'in the weeks to come,' " the New York Daily News quoted the popular news show, as saying via its Web site. (ANI)
