Agra, Dec 17 (ANI): Students and teachers of Bhim Rao Ambedkar University here offered floral lamps on River Yamuna as a mark of homage to the Mumbai attack victims.

They held posters with message of peace and harmony with the Taj Mahal in the background and observed a few minutes of silence.

"We have gathered here to pay tribute to those who died to protect the country without caring for their own lives. We want to spread this message to those who are enemies of peace and harmony that we won't compromise with them in any condition," said Rishab, a student.

Luv Kush Mishra, Director, Tourism and Hotel Management, Bhim Rao Ambedkar University said, "It is our slogan that 'We Hate Terrorism, We Love Tourism'. We strongly condemn the cowardly terror attack of Mumbai."

The three-day rampage in Mumbai on November 26 had more than 164 dead and around 300 wounded.

India has accused Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) of involvement in the Mumbai attacks.

Under pressure from India and the United States, Pakistan has cracked down on Lashkar and an Islamic charity regarded as a Lashkar front, following the attack in Mumbai. (ANI)
