Brangelina impose TV ban for kids - to keep them from asking for big gifts!

New Delhi, December 17 (ANI): Brad Pitt has revealed that he and partner Angelina Jolie had banned their six children from watching too much TV -to keep them from making lavish demands inspired by commercials.

The 'Burn After Reading' actor said that the pair had put a TV-time-limit for their kids to protect them from 'manipulative' endorsements, reports China Daily.

He said: "The kids don't ask for big gifts for the simple reason that they don't see a lot of American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic.

"When they do see that stuff is when they start asking for toys, so we figure if they don't see them they won't know they're there."

The Hollywood heartthrob added that the family did not believe in having an extravagant Christmas and would rather work on adding that personal touch to the gifts.

He told Britain's Hello! magazine: "We have gifts, but we try to keep the money spent to a minimum. The rule is that everyone's got to make something for someone else, you've got to put time into it. Then, when they give to each other, it's really sweet." (ANI)
