Kannada star Upendra teams with Celina Jaitley for bilingual
Bangalore, Dec 16 (IANS) Kannada star Upendra has teamed up with Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley for a bilingual movie in Kannada and Telugu, scripted by the actor himself.
The actor, who is doing a bilingual film for the first time, is tight-lipped about the project.
'We may start this film once the script is finalised. We are yet to finalise the star cast of this film,' Upendra told IANS.
According to sources close to the producer of the yet-to-be-titled film, both the Kannada and Telugu versions will have the same story. BOth projects will be launched simultaneously.
After a long gap, Upendra will feature in a Telugu film in a lead role. Earlier, he featured in Telugu movies like 'Kanyadhaanam', 'Raa', 'Oke Maata', etc. But most of them them had two heroes.
Upendra is right now busy finishing his Kannada film 'Dubai Babu', a remake of director Seenu Vaitla's Telugu hit 'Dubai Seenu'.
