Somnath Chatterjee commends India's test victory against England

New Delhi, Dec 16 (ANI): Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today commended Indian cricket team for dedicating their victory against England to the victims of Mumbai terror attacks.

Addressing the members of Lok Sabha, Chatterjee said that the house not only congratulates the Indian team but also appreciates the fact that the team dedicated their victory to the victims of Mumbai attacks.

"It is also touching that this victory has been dedicated to the victims of Mumbai terror attacks. This house commends its gesture," he added.

Chatterjee also congratulated the four Indian boxers on their return from Moscow where they clinched bronze medals at the IBA World championship."We congratulate the team and we are proud of their performance. It is also a matter of pride that Indian Boxers Akhil kumar, A Lakra, Dinesh Kumar and Jitendra kumar won bronze medals in the recently held IBA World championship held at Moscow," Chatterjee said.
