Ganguly in Bengal squad for Ranji Plate group semi final

Kolkata, Dec 15 (IANS) More than a month after retiring from top class cricket, Sourav Ganguly is set to walk into the 22 yards again for his state side Bengal in the important Ranji Trophy plate group semi final match against Goa in Delhi.

The four-dayer would be played at the Karnail Singh stadium from Dec 18.

Bengal would be led by allrounder Laxmi Ratan Shukla.

The team winning the semi final encounter will return to the Ranji Trophy Elite Division.

Following is the Bengal squad: Laxmi Ratan Shukla (captain), Sourav Ganguly, Rohan Banerjee, Manoj Tiwary, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Avik Chowshury, Ashok Dinda, Ritam Kundu, Sourav Sarkar, Dibyendu Chakraborty, Ranadeb Bose, Anustup Majumder, Iresh Saxena, Avik Mullick and Soham Ghosh.
