Warren Beatty once 'tried to get Julie Christie's sex scene axed'
Washington, Dec 15 (ANI): American actor Warren Beatty was once so furious at a steamy scene between his then-girlfriend Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland that he actually flew down to Britain to get it deleted.
The Oscar-winner was infuriated by the lovemaking scene in 1973 flick 'Don't Look Now', which sparked rumours of an affair between long-term partner Christie and Sutherland due to the pair's fiery on-screen chemistry.
Beatty was so upset by the scene that he travelled to producer Michael Deeley's home in Britain to get it axed from the final edit.
"Warren came over to England and knocked on my door one night to say 'Cut it out of the picture', but there was absolutely no way I could," Contactmusic quoted Michael Deeley as telling BBC 4.
"My company had made it and it was the most beautiful lovemaking scene with Donald Sutherland," he added. (ANI)
