Wills grows shaggy beard just like ancestors!

London, Sun, 14 Dec 2008 ANI

London, Dec 14 (ANI): Prince William is indeed 'hair' to the throne - the royal is apparently following in the footsteps of his ancestors by sporting a shaggy beard.

William's great, great grandfather King George V was famous for his beard. And his father Prince Charles grew one when he served in the Navy back in 1975.

The 26-year-old was recently seen with the facial hair which he grew for a disguise while working undercover in Barbados with the Special Boat Service.

The SBS, the Royal Navy's answer to the SAS, were in the region to combat drug trafficking and piracy.

"He has been back about a week and knew it was only a matter of time before someone spotted him. Everyone has been saying it makes him look like some of the old British kings," News of the World quoted a source, as saying.

"No one is sure if he's going to keep it. But it's here for now," the source added. (ANI)
