Scolari still the boss at Chelsea, says his deputy Wilkins

London, Dec.14 (ANI): Ray Wilkins has denied rumors of a players' revolt at Chelsea.

Insisting that team manager Luiz Felipe Scolari would have no trouble dousing any angry fires over alleged complaints relating to his training methods and team selections, the Daily Star quoted Wilkins as saying: "He is the boss - there's no doubt about that."

Wilkins, a former Blues skipper and now No.2 at the club, also revealed skipper John Terry and Frank Lampard had spoken privately to with Brazilian Scolari about their questions on his (Scolari's) playing methods.

"Unrest? It could not be any further from the truth," said Wilkins.

"We have a close-knit bunch of guys here. Where all this talk of unrest comes from I do not know. Players will always have discussions with managers. If you don't have dialogue in any walk of life, then you're going to have a problem. It's like when you guys (media) report back to the governor," he added. (ANI)
