Pura Mufti (UP), Dec 14 (ANI): A group of angry students set two buses on fire at Pura Mufti in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi District, after a girl was killed in a road accident.
The girl was on her way to school when she was run over by a truck.
They blocked the Allahabad-Kanpur Highway and pelted stones at vehicles and set ablaze two passenger buses.The vehicular traffic was restored after the police swung into action.
Police officials promised to take stern action against the guilty. Separate cases will be filed for both the accident and the violence caused subsequently. Action will be taken against those guilty," said K.S Emmanuel, Superintendent of Police, Kaushambi district. (ANI)
