Streets in British estate named after Rolling Stones songs

London, Dec 13 (IANS) All 13 streets on a new British estate worth 400 million pounds ($600 million) are being named after hits of the Rolling Stones.

Some of the names chosen for the streets in Dartford, Kent, the hometown of the band, are 'Satisfaction' Street, 'Ruby Tuesday' Drive and 'Angie' Mews, reports thesun.co.uk.

Senior councillors are set to soon approve the names for the streets in the 1,500-home Bridge estate. The locals seem to be all for the new plan.

Julia Swan, 34, said: 'I think this is a great idea - we could do with a bit of satisfaction around here. To live on Ruby Tuesday Drive would be very impressive.'

'For once the council has come up with something which makes a bit of sense. I'm sure Mick (Jagger) and the band would be dead chuffed to be recognised in this way,' said 42-year-old John Warner.
