Rolling Stones to be honoured by roads named after their hit songs
London, Dec 12 (ANI): Acclaimed rock band Rolling Stones' lead vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards's hometown of Dartford will honour the band with their own street names.
Dartford Council in their hometown Kent is already thinking of names like Satisfaction Street, Ruby Tuesday Drive, Stones Avenue and Angie Mews.
"You can't always get what you want, but in this case I think we can get some satisfaction," The Daily Express quoted Council leader Jeremy Kite, as saying.
Even the locals are excited about the idea, and have applauded the council for coming up with an innovative idea to honour the legendary band.
"I think it's a great idea - we definitely could do with a bit of satisfaction around here. To live on Ruby Tuesday Drive would be fantastic, but God knows what the postman will think," local resident Julia Swan, 34, said. (ANI)
