Chandigarh, Dec 12 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator in Haryana, Ram Kumar Gautam Friday lashed out at the party's decision to enter into an alliance with the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in the state.
'BJP's alliance with INLD is a big blunder in the history of Indian politics. INLD leader Om Prakash Chautala is a corrupt man and has a criminal background. Many hard core criminals are working in the state under his aegis,' Gautam said at a press conference here.
He said he had also written to senior party leaders like Lal Krishan Advani and party president Rajnath Singh, apprising them about the situation and demanding that the BJP break off all ties with the INLD 'but they did not pay any heed to my letters'.
Gautam cautioned that BJP would not be able win even a single seat in Haryana if they continue to work with INLD.
