Boxers Jitender, Lakra in World Cup semis

Moscow, Dec 11 (IANS) Indian boxers Jitender Kumar and Antharesh Lakra moved into the semi-finals of World Cup here Thursday.
Jitender thrashed Jo Gage of Wales 18-6 in the quarterfinals of the flyweight (51kg) category while Lakra got a walkover in the featherweight (57kg) category.
In the semi-finals, Jitender will face Cuban Hernandez Laffita, who defeated Alexandr Riscan of Moldovia 10-6 and Lakra will take on Cuban Idel Torriente, who outpunched China's Li Yang 11-2.
All the four Indian boxers, including Akhil Kumar and Dinesh Kumar, have made it to the semi-final.
