Three Nigerians held for fraud
New Delhi, July 2 (ANI): Delhi Police has arrested three Nigerian nationals on charges of credit cards fraud in New Delhi yesterday.
The three, Abayomi Anifowoshe, Bawwa and Evans Amathila Imadonmwinyi were apprehended as they were trying to purchase goods using fake credit cards from a city market.
"These cloned cards as was told were brought from Nigeria but we are contemplating that these cards were made after they've reached India.

The police remand is being sought to make further investigation in the matter to catch the person who is in-charge of the cloning process. There is an organised committee without a doubt as per the SMS in one of their mobiles showing a message from Kenya barring the number and pin code of the credit cards," said A. S. Cheema, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
On sustained interrogation, all three admitted that they had been using cloned credit cards, said the police.
"We've seized seven international credit cards which are completely operational along with a laptop containing the information on all the credit cards. Two newly purchased mobile phones, contained the information on fresh credit cards," said Cheema.
The gang has been shopping in and around the city using these cloned credit cards.
All the three Nigerian nationals would be produced in Patiala House court on July 2 and the police would seek their remand for further investigations. (ANI)
