Tom Cruise gives Spencer Pratt 'marriage advice'

New York, December 10 (ANI): Tom Cruise handed out marriage advice to singer Heidi Montag's hubby Spencer Pratt in an interview on 'The Hills After Show.'

Montag had eloped with Pratt and gotten married on November 20, but the marriage is yet to be legal, since the two had failed to obtain the requisite marriage license before their ceremony in Mexico.

Cruise, who married Katie Holmes in 2006 after proposing to her at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, said that Pratt may have made a blunder by not letting his wife have her dream wedding.

"If the girl wants the wedding, you gotta do the wedding. It's a special occasion, and she'll remember it forever. Spencer ... dude ... you'll realize this later," the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.

The Hollywood heartthrob had been booked on MTV Canada's 'The After Show' to promote his upcoming movie 'Valkyrie'.

The historical thriller is based on the July 20, 1944 plot of German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and will see Cruise as the leader of the plot, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg. (ANI)
