'The Italian Job' set for Bollywood remake

London, Dec 10 (ANI): Bollywood bosses are planning a remake of 1968 film 'The Italian Job'.

 

The cult movie, which starred Michael Caine, will be shot again with "lots of singing and dancing", according to Hindi filmmakers.

 

And Indian motors will take the place of Minis in the car chase through Turin.

 

According to Indian film bosses, the new flick would take elements from the original film and the 2003 remake, reports the Sun.

 

Sandeep Bhargava, of the Indian Film Company, said: "They are both very adaptable for Indian audiences, who like excitement."

 

Bhargava is also planning new versions of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Mamma Mia!

 

The firm bagged remake rights from Paramount last year. (ANI)
