London, Dec 9 (IANS) Singer-actress Beyonce has donated her pay cheque from her latest movie to a rehab centre.
Beyonce, who played singer Etta James in the new movie 'Cadillac Records', paid a visit to New York's Phoenix House where James was treated for drug addiction. She visited the rehab centre as a part of her research.
She was touched and promised to give her entire fee. Director Darnell Martin also confirmed that Beyonce gave her money to the centre.
A spokesperson for the centre said: 'She and her mum suggested cosmetology for our skills-training program. We're working with them now to make it happen.'
