The BJP pulled off a victory in Dantewada, where its low profile candidate Bheema Mandavi defeated Salwa Judum hero and leader of the opposition Mahendra Karma.
The party also emerged victorious in Bijapur, where Mahesh Gagra trounced Congress' Rajendra Pambhoi.
