One dead in protests in Greece

Athens, Dec 7 (DPA) A 16-year-old died Saturday in clashes between demonstrators and police in the Greek capital Athens, media reports said.

 

A policeman intended to deliver a warning shot, but the bullet hit the young man in the chest, the report said.

 

 

The police officer was sitting in an official car with a colleague when demonstrators attacked the vehicle with rocks and other objects.
