Melbourne, Dec 5 (ANI): Michael Clarke has bought his fiancée Lara Bingle an Aston Martin car, which is rumoured to have set the Australian cricket vice-captain back a neat 300,000 dollars.
According to sources, the 21-year-old Speedo model has only just taken possession of her new toy and has already started clocking up miles on it, cruising Sydney's beach strip and attending myriad A-List events, reports the Daily Telegraph.
A recent cover story in a women's magazine claimed that the couple had called off their engagement, but Clarke's extravagant gift has finally put to rest any rumours that the relationship is on the rocks.
The couple is set to marry next year in what is already shaping up to be the Sydney celebrity-wedding event of the year. (ANI)
