Suspension of operations agreement with DHD extended by six months

New Delhi, June 30 (ANI): The Ministry of Home affairs on Monday issued a press release stating that the Suspension of Operations (SOO) agreement with the Dima Halam Daogah (DHD), a militant outfit operating in Assam, has been extended by six months beyond 1st July, 2008.
The extension follows a tripartite meeting among the representatives of the Government of India, Government of Assam and DHD on June 23, 2008.
