Naxals kill police officer near Ranchi

Ranchi, June 30 (ANI): A top police officer was killed today in a bomb explosion by Naxalites in Jharkhand's Khunti District.
District Superintendent of Police (DSP), Pramod Kumar Sinha was killed in the Bundu police station area during an encounter with Naxalites.
Two other policemen were also killed, while three were seriously injured.
Naxalites blew up a jeep carrying the DSP and other police personnels. The encounter was still on when reports last came in. (ANI)
