LPG cylinder explodes in Lucknow, creates panic

Lucknow, Dec 2 (IANS) Panic prevailed in Lucknow Tuesday afternoon after an LPG cylinder burst, an official said.

'The explosion took place in a locked house belonging to Mithilesh when he was out on his job,' Lucknow police chief Akhil Kumar told IANS by telephone. The house is located in the Madehganj locality of Lucknow.

He said initial investigations revealed that an LPG cylinder exploded in the kitchen causing major damage to the house and creating panic in the area. However, no casualty has been reported.
